Welcome to ProjectPulse – a network visualization tool for mapping and monitoring your network in real time.

System Requirements

Operating System: Windows 10 or Windows 11

Installation Steps

Step 1: Install ProjectPulse

Run the installer.
A shortcut will be created on your desktop and in the Start menu automatically.

Step 2: Install Npcap (Required for Network Capture)

ProjectPulse requires the Npcap library to capture network traffic. This library provides the necessary wpcap.dll and packet.dll files for adapter access.

Download the latest Npcap installer from:
https://npcap.com
During installation, ensure the following is checked:
- WinPcap API-compatible mode (enabled by default)

Step 3: Launch the Application

Run the ProjectPulse.exe file from the desktop or Start menu.

Step 4: First Launch Overview

When the app opens, you'll see:

The host node (the machine you are running ProjectPulse on)
The default gateway you are currently connected to

These nodes serve as the foundation of your network map.
