Adding a Node
This guide walks you through manually creating a new node in the system.
Note: Field visibility will change dynamically based on your choices in the form.
Step 1: Open the Node Creation Section
Click the + button in the main panel.
Step 2: Fill Out Basic Details
In the first section of the form, enter:
- Device Category
- Device Type
These determine what fields are shown in the next steps.
Step 3: Define Identification
Now complete the second part of the form with:
- Display Name (what you’ll see on the map)
- Network Location (where the device is logically grouped)
Step 4: Connection Details
In the final step, fill in the network and connection info:
- Network Exit Node
- Network Connection Node
- IPv4 Address
- DNS Hostname
- Connection Type
Step 5: Finalize
Click Create to finish adding the node.
